We got destroyed in every match because we're low open. However, we've fixed some of the problems from the beginning of the season. Our mentor, shadowpuppet has a full time job as a paramedic and we've been dashing about in the pastures and meadows of low open.
Sounds like you've had a hard start, but at least you guys are still alive! It's good to hear that you've been fixing some problems as well. Have your scrims with other low open teams been close? And have you figured out what is causing the tilting?
I mean we're tilting because of the mistake we have yet to fix. A major issue is that my team either spreads out and doesn't focus damage/the objective or bunches and gets pushed past. My team also has an infuriating tendency to takes loads of spam right before we push, especially our combo scout and demo.

Accelerate has cheap prices but fairly poor routing anywhere west of Chicago (for Chicago servers, anyway)

on the steamrep page, it says that the .mang/SoRea account has been around since 2008, when 'katie' would have been 3-4 years old. I'm not sure that this could be one of his alts, unless he purchased the account.
lots of strong teams going into this coming seasons, should have some exciting matchups.
