I've been trying to drop myself from the waitlist (pyyours class) but the button seems to do nothing.

It isn't a pointless debate in this case, there's nothing wrong with asking for a few details so that if people are on the fence about it (for good reason, bash fundraiser) they can know exactly where their donations are going.

Ofcourse, not making any excuses, just thought it'd be useful to know. I'll definitely try to see if my team can get our razer matches in before our etf2l matches.

The only problem I can see with this is that most etf2l matches are scheduled to be played on thursdays. Though next week is the last week of the season it's not a huge issue but still might keep some people out of it.

why does it matter if its setting a bad precedent? more people can set up fundraisers for whatever they may want to but people are still able to think for themselves and decide whether the person deserves it and if they will help them.

you've literally been saying the same thing for about 20 posts now when you clearly can see that people will donate to what ever they see fit, what are you trying to accomplish by keeping on going?
