CitricTry again next week! They go on really late- once one group finishes, the coaches come back to get more people (more coaches also will show up throughout the night) so if you don't get picked, hang tight for the next game

Fosho, The thing is for whatever reason they started at 10:30 est instead of the regular time which is 9:00 est, Have work the day right after very early in the morning so I have to head to bed around 11:30 ish, feelsbadman.

Did a couple of mixchamps today though, was a lot of fun.

CoYoTeTRAWSONLooking to get some mge in before participating in today's newbie mixes, if anyone is down to do some solly vs solly let me know
Would be great to hear how you got on and if you enjoyed it :)

Unfortunately didn't get picked, which is fine.

Big thanks though to Slicerogue, who added me and then took the time to go over some basic gamesense/positioning stuff then did some mge w/ me.

I though I'd just post this here instead of making a new thread.

big thanks to everyone who left advice/ressources and welcomed me, I know it sounds kinda cheesy but from what I've seen this community is really awesome.

Thanks for all the help already, that was pretty fast haha.

I've just joined the newbie mixes group I'll make sure to participate in those as soon as I get the chance to, Just read playcomp.tf aswell so thank you for that, Now I know a bit more.

Also I know there is a lot of customization/preference when it comes to the game, is there some kind of competitive/optimal must have cfg?

I've seen some clips without the weapon model in the game is that an option ig? cannot seem to find it, game looks really clean on some fragmovies I've seen so I'm sure it's part of some config aswell.

Hey TFTV :D

I come from ow, After seeing numerous frag movies and watching the i49 doc, the game/scene really caught my interest, looks very skill based and fun.

Lots of people are telling me the game is dead competitively and that it would be pointless but I'm still looking to give it a go. The skill ceiling seems really high and I'm just anxious that by the time I'm actually semi-decent at the game, the scene would be already dead.

I'm mainly interested in the 6s format, the soldier/roamer role seems the most appealing to me, Ideally where would I start? how can I learn the ropes?

That's basically it, thanks in advance.
