I've known space for a while and he really wants to get into 6's so he shows that he is willing to put in the time to improve he also has really good DM for not really playing 6's. Another thing is you won't lose viaduct with him on your team guy is a beast on sniper. Good luck finding a team Space.

So the regular season is about to wrap up and I thought I would make a thread since my team hasn't really figured out what we are going to be doing next season thought I would just make a thread just in case. I feel like I did decent this season for my first season in IM I still feel like I still have things to improve on so I would be looking for Low- Maybe Mid IM teams to play for next season if my team doesn't stick around after the season. Oh also I play Highlander if you don't want Highlander players on your team don't add me it saves both us from wasting our time.

From the few times I have played with Cayda she has played really well definitely higher than steel. She shows that she wants to improve. I think Low Open would be perfect for her I wouldn't doubt seeing her improve a lot just from one season. So try her out you won't be disappointed.

EricAnyone know if the results of stress-test games actually affect rank for people without beta passes? I lost a few because of crashes (not sure what caused them, either).
MopI'm guessing you can use mat_dxlevel after you start the queue. I was able to change to dxlevel 81 while searching, but I wasn't able to fully connect to the server (not sure if related or not. Might have to use mat_dxlevel once in the server).ScruffMcGruffdon't have to play with dx9 just a heads up I'm currently playing with dx8
Did anyone else check with dx8? I really hate dx9 :D
I was in dx8 the whole time no chaning back and forth and was connecting perfectly fine the whole time

DanceNumberIt looks about 9 hours ago he updated the main menu/loading screen backgrounds. You could try using the HUD without them. materials/vgui/replay/thumbnails/ background_upward_widescreen.vtf(.vmt) are the ones that load when the game launches.
I tried this but didn't do anything but thanks for the suggestion

I have been having this problem where every time I launch TF2 and I get past the Valve intro my game just freezes on the loading screen for 2-5 mins. When I switched to using default HUD I didn't have this problem I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem and if they fixed it or it might just be me. Thanks in advance
