If this is being looked at by Valve is there any possibility of bringing mat_picmips below -1? You used to be able to read the signs on the walls with -5 and the textures had less compression artifacts. Seems to me this should be the default for ultra textures considering almost every graphics card from the last decade can run this setting with little to no performance impact.

ArieBeyerdynamic MMX300, 240 euros. That's a lot, but you get an actual hifi headphone (DT770) with a quality microphone, very well built.
They are not DT770s (different driver and tuning) but they are decent if you INSIST on a headset
jnkiare you positive it must be a headset and not headphones and a standalone mic? headsets tend to have inferior sound quality, and the microphones included arent the best either no matter the price range

I would suggest looking at the Sennheiser 58X and a mod mic. They 58X sound decent and don't need a amp. Upfront cost is higher but you will save yourself money in the long run. Good headphones can last for decades (i have a pair of 30 year old beyerdynamic DT 990s) and sound better than any gaming headset you can buy.

With mastercoms medium low in 6v6 yes. In pubs, HL, or even a sufficiently poorly optimized map? No. Your best bet is Zen 3 if you care about pub fps. Ram speed gives significant gains on Ryzen in TF2. Grab some 3600 CL 16 when you upgrade.
