Played in tonight (was a doublemix, but maybe it's still relevant), and the map flows really well, but there are some tweaks that I disagree on.
I feel like the small edge behind the fence on balcony should be back, it never has been an issue imo and it's pointless to remove it. On the same logic, iirc there's small edge behing the fence on top of spire, I'd like to see it back.

It's just basic qualifiers situation. Days are set, there's no scheduling involved.

When you think about it, these playoffs are actually well set, way better than the last ones I was involved in, where my team had to play two officials the same day, and finish the last map around 23:30..

BloodisIf the Challonge page for the double elimination looks confusing due to first round not having lower bracket, here’s an image to show when does the double elimination stage itself start. Can keep it up to date if wanted.

This looks pretty rough for the losers of the first round, usually teams had to lose twice to get knocked out, but I guess there was no other way considering the number of participants.
MouldAs far as I know, all the disputable teams all have somewhat decent results against some of the more respected and known teams in pcw.
Not that I believe all these teams have an equal chance to take prem, but a lot of the low seeds might surprise you and none of then are gonna be 100% free for the middle seeds, at least in my opinion there could be a lot of upsets in the lower bracket. Even my team, which is IMO the weakest, has some small possibility to beat some teams you wouldn't expect, the guys who are better are gonna surprise you for sure and the games should be good.

When I said disputable, it was just by looking at the look of the lower teams, and ofc you are right. I'm actually looking forward for the first games, because the past has proven us that upsets are possible. Last season's qualifiers, no one expected Nunya to perform so well, yet IIRC they were the first team to make it ot prem.
Tbf, at the moment, there is no team that I'd consider having absolutly no chance. All I hope is that all the teams that don't make it to prem stick together so we can have as really good High tier aswell.

Many quality teams in there, while some look pretty ... disputable.
Anyway, I think AMS' and Adysky's teams are the strongest, based on recent results. Then I see Lego, Perminators, bug slayers, no dd +5 abs and Loli Squad fighting for the last two spots, with Perminators having an edge imo.
Overall the skill level looks very promising, for these qualifiers (with regular or ex prem players in many of these teams) and for the next season of prem overall.
One might say the seeding looks a bit odd, but I like the fact that not only results have been taken into account, and that stability has been rewarded aswell (looking at you, Loli Squad and bug slayer).
Who do you see taking the four spots ? Any upset in perspective ?
Edit: Actually, the russians too look capable of creating a surprise. Just, don't get War to cast any of Dima's game.

Ringo__StarrbotmodeI want to also state the only thing close to a valid argument for crossbow being banned was one of Marxist's posts, which in itself was anything but convincing. I think at this point it's really difficult to argue that crossbow makes the game worse, certainly different but this whole "ban crossbow" thing really seems like a matter of opinion. It also seems like the majority of people would prefer the crossbow unbanned, especially for those who have actually played since the crossbow was released.
It's not very difficult to summarize. xbow is good enough to the point that if you run something else on medic primary you're essentially throwing. Think what you will but IMO thats straight up the definition of overpowered. I know that may be overbloating how much of an impact it actually does or does not have but just my 2 cents.
I havent read anything on that thread, but that point is just plain wrong. The fact that every other alternative is bad (which is pretty much the case for medic primary slot) doesnt make the weapon OP, it just makes it better than bad weapons.
