This whole fucking thread is so pointless. Yeah dflame is being a little bitch, but that's to be expected. Dflame can be a serious faggot, and the majority of the shit talk aimed at him is very justified, but do you guys even reread what you've typed? Shit talk him for how he plays the game, or the way he talks to people, or the way he acts towards people, but his personal life? I'm willing to bet 98% of you have never had a serious conversation with him. Maybe the kid does have a broken home life, maybe his dad wasn't around, or his mom, or maybe he doesn't have much of a social life besides tf2, but why is that a topic of shit talk towards someone in a video game? For the majority of people posting on these forums, tf2 is their main. It's a game they play for fun, to get better, and for the competition. The amount of time some people commit to this game, including myself, is so fucking high. Nearly nobody who spends 50+ hours every 2 weeks in this game is going to quit tf2, as long as they are still enjoying the game. Dflame has agreed to change his name, yet the shit talk doesn't end. I'm not white knighting shit talking dflame, I'm white knighting shit talking dflame's personal life. Does everybody remember the thread somewhat recently about suicide? Chazzysan was pretty well liked in the community, and he got lots of help and support. I can't help but wonder, what would the public reaction be if dflame was to make one? Would you guys still want to make fun of his broken home life or would you support him? Just fucking think about your actions, shit talk him for how he acts towards people, not why. Calling him autistic and making fun of his dead mom, or his father who left isn't going to change him. Yeah, he could just walk away, but holy fuck it's endless hate, and he isn't going too. This is a fun game, and it's going to remain that way. Don't bitch about how small the community is if you're going to use the just walk away or it's just a game excuse. Just leave his personal life alone. This is easily one of the most pitiful things I've read in a long time. The goal was completed. Dflame changed his name, and it's dumb that he wouldn't keep his word. Let this end now. Dflame is a massive dick to me too, but I can see when enough is enough.
