They are, but I can confirm they work. At least on casual servers. For some reason Valve allows end/beginning of round music mods but no other sound mods.

No Matchmaking Music Mod

If you turn down the music volume from TF2's settings, it doesn't affect any of the round start and end music from Valve competitive or casual. This mod removes all of that so that you can listen to your own music and not have to hear them overlap.
Just move the "no music" folder into your custom folder like you would with any other mod.

kodeeeyI've been getting random drops to under 60 fps with an i5-4460 and a gtx970. It just seems like the tf2 dev team completely fucked performance with the pyro update. :/
I have your same graphics card and a worse processor and I don't have framerate problems. Don't blame the TF2 team.

If you have any graphics software, check to see if it's limiting your fps in games. It's an option in nvidia experience and similar programs.
