#1369 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Define "well".

I'd say no. Maybe used if you're lucky but that's it.

"well" would be a pc that runs those games at good fps without any problems and a pc that is upgradeable

could you maybe tell me which price would be optimal for buliding a decent pc?
would it be possible to build a decent pc with a budget around 600 euro?

Yeah, just post again here 1 or 2 weeks before you want to build it.

Overclocking would get you better performance in TF2 but since it costs time and money it would just be a waste of money if you won't do it anyway. I'm not sure if I could've made it happen on that budget anyway but I live for challenges like this.

Alright, will look up some things about overclocking.

Thanks a lot man!

When are you going to build it? New GPUs and more importantly CPUs this summer.

Are you willing/able to overclock?

I am most likely going to be building it this summer so I guess I can wait for the new GPUs and CPUs if thats better.

I dont really care at all about overclocking so I wont be doing it I dont think. Should I though?

#6 Help with buying a gaming build in Hardware
diashock

Thanks dude, Ive heard many things about AMD and I dont know what to think of them really, but it feels like people say Intel is better. As for ordering, I will be ordering from local towns but thanks for the reddit thread Ill have a look at it.

#1194 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Hey, I want to buy a gaming build that can run games like TF2 and CS:GO well (150+ FPS), dont need anything extreme.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows how good these builds linked below would be and if they arent good, Id love if you guys could give me some builds which would be optimal or something like that.

Im talking about builds like this:

http://puu.sh/otX9h/b1c33e83ff.png

It would be great if the price was from 500-600 dollars (450 - 550 euro).
I also want to be able to upgrade it over time.

Any help is much appreciated!

#2449 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

Hey, I'm having some problems with installing a background on the loading screen.

The background is just pink / pink and black squares like this: http://puu.sh/mAmuk/101269564c.png

StatSummary.res : http://pastebin.com/Bne5VQnP

I tried re-doing everything 3 times and it still doesn't work. I've put my background .vtf and .vmt file in /materials/vgui/replay/thumbnails.

I'm editing m0rehud black and using 1336x768 as my resolution.

Also, in which file do you edit the killfeed?
