akiraLangeI didn't know that nocrits/nospread disqualified a server from being listed in QuickPlay. I'm editing the config now to make the server eligible.
Instant blacklist.
I think you misunderstood my post. I edited the config to turn on crits and damage spread, not somehow bypass the tags.
This weekend was incredible, definitely the most fun I've had in a long time.
I'd like to extend thanks to the OG and V2 folks who came out to attend the wedding, some of whom drove in excess of 12 hours to get here. They were the life of the party and the wedding would not have been nearly as fun without them. If you see any of them around in TF2 be sure to say Hi, they're all great people.
Congratulations to Alex & Erica Marhenke, and I look forward to many more years of friendship.
Are you trying to run the demo by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer?
If you want a map added, +frag the shit out of whatever post in this thread mentions it.
I am truly honored to be a part of their wedding. I've known Alex and Erica for two years and in that time they have become some of my dearest friends.
I'm very excited for the big day tomorrow.
conductorklare has some plugin on turbine it for turning off crits without removing it from quickplay (since it just checks the server's tags)
A smart idea but I'm not really too worried about it. IMO part of the fun of pubbing is how ridiculous it is, and crits can add to that.

Distraction roamer is definitely valid on granary mid. What #2 said has worked in invite many-a-time, so it can work for you.
If you want to be more proactive, but don't feel like you can both start AND finish kills, then just focus on one of them.
Starting kills:
Jump in, do some damage, jump out with your last loaded rocket. Very fast hit and run. Call what got hurt the most and your team should focus it for an easy kill. Worst case scenario: you miss all your rockets but were still a distraction.
Ending kills:
Wait for someone on your team (most likely the scouts and your demo) to call that something is hurt (tell them to call anything that takes like 40+ damage) and get on it IMMEDIATELY. For example, if one of your scouts hits 4 pistols on an enemy scout right when they get to mid, then get on that scout the moment you can.

If you have problems with OBS please post about them on the OBS forums.
MR_SLINwhy is it that OBS has better performance with Aero on? seems strange
I have no idea, and it may be an anomaly local to my system. You should do some timedemos with it on and off and see if you get the same change.
clorgwhat about the audio quality between obs and xsplit?
Identical at identical bitrates/codecs.
Updated "Caveats" with warning about Aero and input lag.
