I just got a new gtx 1060, and my cpu right now is a FX 6300 (oc'd). I dont think it has enough power, so what should I upgrade to?

FOV 54 is retarded. The fuckin stickybomb launcher covers the entire sceen when reloading. I'm pretty sure FOV 72 was already hated by the large majority of players playing in the beta, so they just HAD to lower it more to 54....

Shpee basically covered it all. The thing with matchmaking is:

• It is first to 2
  
• There is no whitelist (some broken / op weapons are banned in all leagues such as reserve shooter)
  
• There is no meta set in stone in MM which means you can't practice proper 6s (e.g. you could have a full time pyro which is never seen in 6s)

The skill in mm is probably very variable as you could see gibuses etc which would not mean proper practice. Jump in on tf2center and read a few guides before playing, and I'm sure you could fit right in!

Basically, I think that it was something to do with my config. I'm not saying that comanglia's configs (max stability) were directly to blame, but they were the reason that I began freezing. Since I put the config into my autoexec and each of my class configs had "exec autoexec" at the top, this explained the reason as to why I could spectate, but not play (ie the autoexec with the command that caused TF2 to freeze was not executed). Therefore, I'd recommend you look at your graphics configs and check if there are any graphics commands that do not work too well

Can't play TF2 at all ;_;. This happened yesterday when I was playing around with launch options and graphics configs. When I join a team and pick a class, the game just freezes. If I try to exit (shift tab, win-tab, task manager, alt + f4 etc), the game doesnt respond, or just black screens.
Stuff I have done to try to fix this:

• Remove the stuff in custom folder
  
• Set launch options (-dxlevel 95 -h 1080 -w 1920 -console)
  
• Reinstalled the game (albeit everything was the same because it was backed up by cloud)
  
• Verified integrity of game cache

The interesting thing is that I can still go into spec and watch TF2, but not actually play it 0_o
Any help is really appreciated
