konrSolidSpeerlaiyekonrModels are bigger, and therefore (imo) easier to track. I also think once you've gotten used to using that resolution the fov feels really weird on other resolutions, so it's hard to switch. Also you can quite easily actually move your move and look around, you don't need the tiny amount of fov gain.
That's like saying that you prefer 70fov since the models are bigger and the fov loss is completely insignificant because you could just move your mouse more.
No it isn't, because playing at 640x480 won't lower your fov by 30. That's ridiculous.

When running cs in 4:3 you get 74 fov

Pro cs players like that res because that is what they are used too. 1.6 was built for low res. However in CS:GO it does not do anything other than change your fov.
