i mean to be fair tf2's comp scene chance has gone and now with overwatch if it would survive it won't really go huge.
looking over over.gg i saw some big names go to overwatch, which is sad but they're happy I guess, sad to see tf2 won't really be able to launch a big comp scene again

Tery_domthewhiteguyhow many newbie mix teams did we get in total? because it seems like we have a lot of new teams and players, which is really good.
I believe the number was 11 teams, which is amazing. Kudos to all the new players joining Open this season and of course Kevin for orchestrating it all.
Good luck with Open coverage, for any brave soul that walks down that path this season. Lots of new faces, and I'm hoping that all of them will stay.

cage-trucksCSGO just banned all coaches at majors for exactly this reason.and exactly every single player and analyst thinks its a dumb rule
in csgo, you mainly control the economy, think of strats, and try to keep moral up.
since tf2 doesn't have a radar, you need to call everything. You need to track ubers, call players, call pushes all while your trying to heal/dm people. Having a coach means you can just do your classes role and listen to your coach.
