KanecoYou know the shift that will eventually happen if adblockers get mass usage is that most sites will rely on subscription models or even more agressive kind of ads, it's a lose-lose situation, both for the content producers as well as the visitors.

This will be the answer for some sites, some news sites have already moved behind a paywall (eg. thetimes). However a more pragmatic solution that is already in the works is a defined standard of ads that is acceptable to all parties in terms of size, content. positioning and source.

The majority of viewers can live with this scenario view the content.

#28 Youtube trying to make its own version of twitch in Off Topic
-protoMrFahr3nheittheir copyright policy is infinitely more terrible than twitch's which is probably the biggest problem
and no kappa
it shouldn't be a surprise that youtube is expected to crack down harder on copyright infringement given it has like a million times more daily users than twitch

To be fair to Google on this one, they've been battered by content lawyers for years. It's a safety first position from the Viacom law suit,

#171 Windows 10 release day in Off Topic
Slayer6ripSlayer6Is there anyone here with pirated windows 7?? Did you upgrade your windows 7 so microsoft can take the information and give you the key license or you just made a clean install? If you used daz loader (or any other activator) to activate w7, that worked by using an exploit in SLIC injection. They patched this exploit in w10, so if you try to upgrade - it will first check their servers to see if your product key is valid, which it won't be - so you will only be running the trial version.

You could try a kms loader which 'might' activate w10, but those are rubbish and will probably get detected with later windows updates.

I used one from daz! I just upgrade the windows into 10 and as for now it looks fine! Didn't warn me at all about non genuine!

Someone at work gave me a bootloader to license my old Win7 OS, ran the upgrade to Win10 all was well.

Win10 was running well for the first week, but all the app updates are now stuck in pending. I fear a system reset is the sledgehammer to crack that nut.

I'm going to wait an see how the new OxygenOS plays out.

I'm a fan of Cyanongen mod but since the falling out between OPO and CM I'm more hesitant.

That said I would expect a CM Rom for OP2 in the near future.

Admirable5-6 years ago Mike used to be that kid people loved to hate. Regularly flamed and ridiculed on ETF2L forums for being immature and "all aim" or an "MGE tryhard". That little shit would go on to become the greatest ever... what up now?

Today he turns 20 years old. Let us give thanks to the tf2 gods for Michael Eugene Adams.

haha, when the etf2l recruitment page was pure entertainment.

What about the first EU v NA matchup, Pandemic in ESL.
Or Dignitas returning the favour and playing ESEA.

yukibadlands is the oldest map that we still play, now that granary seems to be getting phased out for pro_granary.

Or are we counting pro gran as the same map?

Depends whether you count the original Granary, or the Granary_wtf when Valve added gates to mid and a set up timer a la Well or Granary_pro where the gates were removed. The history of Granary is varied yet always stalematey.

Three ESEA LAN finals have been affected by unlock changes immediately prior to the LAN.

The equalizer LAN - before it was split into 2 unlocks
The Natasha LAN - where it rivaled a death star's tractor beam
The quickfix LAN - pop in, jump out, rinse and repeat

Depends what you are after. I lived in London for 20 years or so,

Most of the national galleries and museums are free

If you're into the architecture, take a walk from the City of London (financial district for you Americans) at the weekend it's empty.

The London Eye is worth it for a birds eye view of London, I love it at sunset http://www.londoneye.com/
Or even the viewing platform at the Shard http://www.the-shard.com/

A boat trip along the Thames is good, there's 2 types of boats. Tourist boats or the River Bus. The
River bus is cheaper as you can use your Oyster Card. While I remember get an Oyster https://oyster.tfl.gov.uk/oyster/link/0005.do as it's the cheapest easiest way of getting around

Shoreditch is hipster central if you're into skinny jeans.

Soho is nice for a drink on summer evenings, stick to the pubs where everyone drinks out side.

The Southbank has quite a few restaurants and bars if you want to sit outside and people watch.

A note of caution, it's the school holidays so every where is pretty busy, it's worth booking somethings unless you want to spend time in a queue surrounded by over excited families
