They already tried doing that.DatDrummerGuyYep, he refused because he has narcolepsy and IBS. That's really sad. He could practically save TF2, he's an absolutely incredible, smart and fast coder.
Is he under the impression that there's a strict schedule that anyone will hold him to? We're playing TF2 in 2016, I don't think anyone cares how long it'll take him as long as it's him working on the game. Straight up, I'll help fund his paycheck, I just want someone doing the cleanup who both knows and cares about what he's doing.
I wish they would hire sigsegv, but giving new hires remote access to the source tree might not be valve's internal policy after that 2014 leak

Not saying this is a good idea, just that WordPress shouldn't disqualify anyone
I was mostly objecting to everyone having their own league, not necessarily wordpress. The only thing worse than the community split between 5 formats/rulesets/leagues is the community split between 500 formats/rulesets/leagues.

here's the real debate: are MLP/anime-avatar pubbers better or worse than the average non-MLP/non-anime-avatar pubber?
I personally believe they are better than the average pubber (cuz they never go outside and thus play a lot) but are worse than UGC scrubs because their awful personalities prevent them from forming meaningful relationships and thus teams in any league.

Worse: something you can tell is anime from the ingame thumbnail
the ubercharged class portrait avatar means either "I installed this game yesterday" or "I installed this game 9 years ago and it's the only thing that remains of my personality"

Paladin_IMSScrewballgarrappachc It's just extremely difficult to maintain the code.How hard would it be for them to scrap the whole thing, port the resources over to source 2, and start from scratch like they did with DOTA 2?
Do you remember how buggy and horrid the source 2 launch was for dota?
Also, it's already been leaked that they pretty much have ported a lot of their games to source 2.
