Added what seemed an UNBELIEVABLY SKILLFUL player in a pub after he airshot my Star_ wannabe market gardener attempt (think this had never happened to me before), turned out he needed a demo for his div6 team. The stringent entry criteria was to beat him in pipe mge which I somehow did 20:19.

not really getting what the logic is to the progression of maps; would be nice if this had a more obvious structure like ordering by age, popularity, art style, game mode etc. The first two seem to set a nice precedent with two old, pubber-friendly maps with a 'gravelly' theme, but groupings like badwater, coal town, rottenburg (light blues) and coldfront, sawmill, doublecross (reds) seem to have no rhyme or reason to them.

More than location the most important thing is to set them up early enough that the other team won't expect you to have been able to put a trap there, while not giving them away by watching them obviously. Also make sure you don't overextend and die to watch a trap that could kill someone; almost always better to blind det in those situations as your certain life is worth more than a trap that may or may not get a pick.

play some 2v2 mge with whichever of your teammates are on at 1930 cet, chill in mumble and discuss the match, then use 2 map prescrim to warmup calls and teamplay, remembering how the official is likely to be different as the teams will play different so not to take it too seriously win or lose.

only using 2 stickies in a fight is hugely unrealistic- you have to remember that stickies don't work the same as rockets/pipes in that you are not expecting to hit every shot but rather denying enemies space to force them into positions where they can be more easily killed. 2 stickies is not enough to do this, meaning a demo cannot practise using stickies the way they are meant to be used. I would suggest allowing 4/5 stickies per clip as this is a reasonable amount to use in a 1v1 while not allowing a demo to spam for long periods without hitting anything.
