also when is it i want to play
i swear there was something about a lightmap setting that caused this issue.
Dee Dee : look at all the beginners in our team
Dee Dee : I;m like the only pro in our team
there's actually a pretty simple (inconvenient though) solution to this. you can use a pre-pyro update version of the game (https://jump.tf/forum/index.php/topic,2470.msg20942.html#msg20942) to view the demos.
i recommend putting this in your steamapps/common folder under a different name, but copying your demos folder across. Then, simply rename the folders whenever you want to switch versions.
yeah we need the beams and i dont think they're too much of a problem. honestly i feel like a lot of the people that dislike some of the stuff about badlands just dislike the map in general which no minor change is going to fix.
I feel like it's appropriate to bump this thread for this. I've started working on an i52 fragmovie after everyone gave up hope that huhy would finish his. It's no fragumentary but hopefully it will be satisfactory.
I'd really hate to miss anything so if anyone knows of any plays that weren't caught on stream (there are likely a lot of these) or any footage from LAN or anything that needs to be included please let me know. Thanks.
((also huhy if you're still working on this please respond :( ))
we picked up a random engineer for our joke hl team. he didn't know how to use mumble. but then we played our official...
osvaldoin the cfg folder, make the config.cfg file read only; should fix it for all demos
thank you.
seems to be happening as of latest update. i didn't find a fix but there may be one.
WiethoofdLock all variables after setting them yourself:
Repeat for crosshair settings, viewmodel_fov, fov_override, min viewmodels, volume and whatever else you think shouldn't change.alias locked "" // empty alias r_drawviewmodel 1 // Enable viewmodels alias r_drawviewmodel locked // Lock changing viewmodels
I'll try this, thanks!
how do i stop the game from executing people's configs when i play a demo? it's really annoying and is currently ruining my fragmovie recording.
any help would be appreciated.
might be in your tf folder rather than the demos folder
i remember searching "pro tf2" on youtube and finding some videos of previous ESEA seasons. This was around the runup to i52 so I heard about that and watched it, and once i saw the level of skill displayed at LAN I knew this was the game i wanted to play.
