#1 Change color of health when with full hp in Customization

Hey there expert hud makers. Just wanted something but I have no idea on how to do it.

I was wondering if it was possible, just like you would get the low ammo indicators when low on ammo, and ammo thing starts flashing, if I could get my health in say... yellow, when I was with full overheal or close to it.

Would be a nice application for pocket soldiers, wondering if possible.

Ty!

#2 See scoreboard info without opening it in Customization

Auto answering question, unfortunately no. Might as well email the TF team and see if they can waste a little time making it available.

#1 See scoreboard info without opening it in Customization

Question to ya'll expert hudmakers and the such.

I wanted to know if there is any option or possible variable so you are able to see scoreboard information without having to open it.

I would like to, if possible, edit my hud so you could see some information, like who is alive or how many people alive on my team/other team, without having to have a look at the scoreboard and add it. Anyone has any idea if you can retrieve that info without opening scoreboard?

Can I use the scoreboard variables out of scoreboard.res?

pls no 'open scoreboard u lazy'

#1 Stream - BrickTopBrick in Requests

Bonjour!

I finally got my new computer, and I had been looking forward to stream, but only could do unimportant stuiff like mvm before. Now however, I can stream 720p and 60 fps with high quality tf2 without even dropping in game fps, so I am basically going to stream all of my gameplay.

Specially I want to stream my actual comp play, which is:

Div 5 etf2l pocket soldier, will be streaming map talks, scrims and matches.

Div 6 demonstration man on Highlander, same as above.

And I'll also stream a lot of jumping with my friend LessThanThree.

Etf2l profile: http://etf2l.org/forum/user/91320/

I also play a lot of lobbies http://rc.tf2center.com/profile/76561198035586064 and will stream most of them.

The third thing that I will mostly stream are spanish mixes (my teams are english though). So there will also be some spanish stream in it.

#1 Whats wrong with my HUD at spectator? in Customization

Hey there!

I'll go straight to the point. I run ompHUD, since about a year ago. It has always worked beautifully, until about 1 month ago.

The spectator mode, should look like this http://rawr.am/tf2hud/images/spectator.png

However, since about a month ago, in my HUD, spec mode looks just like that, but without the health and names on the side. It's very anoying when I try to spectate games or matches, and I can't see any of it.

I uploaded my cfg and custom folders, to see if anyone could help me.

Or maybe somebody else has the same hud and its a widespread problem?

Thank you!

#11 I'm making a community frag movie, I need clips! in Videos
rowrowat the end of the clip where the demo does his thing, switch to the sniper's pov briefly during which he sees the demo do the frags, and then you can switch back to a third person/free-cam shot of the sniper grabbing his picks

The problem is, I only have the demo's prec demo, I just noticed what the sniper did after editing the demo frags. So if I go 3rd person, I won't be able to see the demo in the movie.

Small bump with some of the footage I made. Keep in mind that this is my first video ever, os I 'd like some advice.

Oh, and I'd really love some demos, as I have a few, but had to use some from sin's.

I do need help making it more obvious that the last two (demo and sniper on process) are on the same play.

bbax51Can you post links to any of your previous work?

Thanks for that comment, actually, added to the post, this would be my first long video. Before I've only toyed around with all of it and done tests with only 1 or 2 movies for transitions and all. Been planning this for some time, and already have the music, the transitions, etc, drafted in my mind.

I'd rather not explain much about that!

I got about 8 demos now, if I could get more it would be very helpful, as it would create closer situations.

#1 I'm making a community frag movie, I need clips! in Videos

A friend of mine told me to post it here, so here we go.

Hey there!

I'm looking to make a community frag movie featuring your tf2 frags. All I want is them to be from competitive formats. Be it lobbies scrims or actual matches, I don't care.

This would be my first long video, trying to learn, and found it fun!

Hopefully, I can get a few and mix them up so they look nice!

Please upload the demos to a sharing service (mediafire.com is a good one, also mega.co.nz) and rename the demo to the tick where the frag is at, maybe explain? That could be done on the message too.
Message me here, add me or email me at legoprods@gmail.com.

If you want to include the team where you're playing or your country, it's fine with me too!

Thank you!

#4 To serious MAC TF2 players, Boot Camp Windows in TF2 General Discussion

I'm trying to help Mac users with not so good computers that try to improve their performance, so please keep the windows vs mac comments away, or unuseful ones. Thank you.

#1 To serious MAC TF2 players, Boot Camp Windows in TF2 General Discussion

Sorry for making this post, but I am so delighted that I can't stop telling people. I am a Mac user, Macbook air to be precise. 11 inch 1 kg computer, with integrated grafics and an i5.

Running tf2 on my mac was, meh. With Chris configs and a lot of tweaks, I garnered about a ~40 fps average on crowded places.

I just read somewhere that if you partition your drive and install Windows performance could be better. A little skeptical but finally got on to try it.

And...

I'm getting an average of 200-400 fps on the Windows. It's unbelievable. I've been even able to stream at somewhat high quality while playing serious, and not lagging. Before I could only do so at low quality, and maybe while playing Engie in mvm or medic.

It's just, amazing. A solid 66 fps (cap), but could go up to 200. Game takes to boot like, 10 seconds max instead of the old 1 minute (helps that I'm on SSD).

I'm thinking of making a guide, not sure if I should, on how to do it. But, it REALLY IS WORTH IT. Like, really really. At least if you have a poor computer as I do. I mean, if you have a monster mac, allright, but for the rest, please do yourself a favor and do it.

If anybody would like a guide, it would take me some time, but this is so helpful that I couldn't say no.

Thanks, enjoy.

Oh, and P-REC, oh, and also Lawena
