I don't main soldier but I use a shotgun when I'm protecting a medic. I can't rely on all my rockets to save him.

If they would add more things to do it might be worth the buy. It seems all you do is Loot, Fight for the reactors, Open crates, try to get legendary weapons to go and kill more people at reactors for more legendary weapons. And kill aliens. Seems stale and repetitive.
