So after seeing what I can do with my i5 760 in the following years and the state of my 5770 (part of the plastic enclosure is being held in place by some of my PSU cables), I find it necessary to get a new video card. I'm grabbing the 650 Ti 1gb, and I'm thinking about grabbing 8 gigs of RAM because it's just that affordable. There's one thing bugging me though: Cas Latency & timings for the RAM if I do purchase it.

Right now I have 4gb of RAM (2 by 2gb) at Cas Latency 7 (DDR3 1333 because that's what my mobo accepts). The RAM I'm getting is Cas Latency 8 (DDR3 1333), but I can get 8 gigs of it. Is the CL that big of a deal, should I be worrying about the timings, or is the quantity of the RAM provided more relevant?

I would recommend getting RAM with a Cas Latency of 8, 9 or 10. In other words, you're good to go!

For the GPU, I recommend getting the ASUS GTX 650 Ti
