What to pick at last?

Usually when I'm ubered into last I just tend to shoot whatever is closest to me.

I just want to know what class is more important to pick at last during a push?

bid damage/prevention classes - demoman/pyro/heavy/sentry(not engineer!)

demoman: gets rid of his stickies freeing up entrances for your team to come in

pyro: stops him airblasting your team out - use hitscan weapons for this

heavy: soaks up a lot of damage that you want out of the way straight away

sentry: stops scouts running in

sometimes you will go for the medic. if he isn't anywhere close to uber, ignore him and kill damage classes. if he has it soon, kill him. if he has uber as well, force it, get out, then repush.

enjoy your newly captured last point.

edit: pretty much what yuki said

Do you have uber advantage? If so, how big?

If it's a very small uber advantage, quite often you will want to kill the medic so they don't almost immediately retaliate with a counter uber.

If it's a large advantage, you will often just want to get easy frags on whatever (eg, heavy if they have one, etc).

It really is dependent on the map, positioning, what utilities they have, etc. There isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer. Most importantly is that you trade at least EVENLY, ie, don't lose a player before ubering, and make your post uber count. The post uber fight is typically the more important fight. Sometimes you will use an uber just to get positioning and force the other team back, and then just kill them because of the better positioning after the uber.

Your question is too broad.

It all depends on the situation.

First of all, what class are you playing? A demoman is going to have a very different objective than a scout for example.

Second, do you have uber advantage or not?

Is their medic close to getting uber?

What off classes are the defenders running?

That's just a few things that have to be considered before this question can even begin to be answered.

Edit, I got fucking ninja'd by three people. gg

Thanks for the tips.
Maybe just a little bit more as pocket since that's what I'm playing

#4 says to do what #3 says, #3 says to do what #2 says, #2 says to do what #3 says. So I guess everything works, no matter what you do.
