Thoughts on the Wii U?

I'm having a lot of fun with mine. Been spending more time on my Wii U now than on my PC, mainly playing retro games though. I love the gamepad, but the thing that I really love about it, is the speakers. Since the sound is duplicated from the TV to the gamepad on virtual console games, it sounds like you have surround sound when you go to play a game and it feels amazing. I hope more developers take advantage of this.

I might get a PS4 but none of the exclusives there really interest me, I'm super excited for Pikmin 3 and Smash Brothers however.

My brother has a Wii U, it's a pretty neat system. I just don't think there's enough NEW games to warrant a purchase at the moment. If you like retro stuff, the virtual console is good, but I already have most of the games offered on there on the actual systems that they're from. I think it'll be a great console once it gets some more games, you'll pretty much have to rely on Nintendo for those though, don't expect many other big developers to put much out for it.

And yeah, Pikmin 3 and Smash Bros will be pretty great.

It's a great system that, as usual, has no good base of new games to support it. I barely play mine anymore.

I love the thing, Nintendo is the only company that makes games I am excited for.
If you have IRL friends its amazing to play Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros with

Once the new 3D Mario Game, Smash Bros, LOZ etc games come out it will be the greatest thing ever.

On a side note, during the week of E3 you will be able to play the new Super Smash Brothers, 3D Mario game and the new Mario Kart at a local Best Buy

I wasn't really planning on buying a Wii U, but I don't want to miss out on Wind Waker HD and Smash Bros D:
