Hello,

I originally wanted a signature from Laiky ( https://etf2l.org/forum/user/128908/ ) on my Australium Killstreak Sniper Rifle, everything went smoothly I gave him my rifle, and he signed it because I saw the signature on the rifle in his inventory but then when he tried to resend me the rifle the trade got instantly declined and got sent to a random account with the same name and profile picture I had at the time

1st Screenshot.) That screenshot shows the account that my rifle went to, it was a fully empty profile with no friends, no games, or anything of that sort it only had my rifle in its inventory which by now isn't there anymore and only has 2 keys in the inventory ( https://steamcommunity.com/id/belaboldyrev126 )

2nd Screenshot.) It does not need any explanation, it's just the trade being declined and sent to the account I was about in the 1st screenshot.

3rd Screenshot.) After losing my sniper rifle I noticed that another player's rifle was signed, I spoke to Laiky about it and he said he wasn't sure if his API is still corrupted or not which makes no real sense, why would you sign someone's rifle after you JUST lost someone else's rifle?

4th 5th and 6th Screenshot.) During the time he was meant to repay me, he bought himself 3 different australium sniper rifles.

7th Screenshot.) After he lost my rifle he promised me a repay on the 24th of July for the full price of the rifle (35 keys).

8th Screenshot.) After many months of waiting, I asked him in DM's about it and he just fully backed out of the promise like nothing happened.

9th Screenshot.) He became really passive-aggressive after he found out that I started to talk about it with other people about him refusing to pay me.

10th Screenshot.) It's the same case as the 9th picture he was very passive-aggressive until later on when way more people found out about it and then he became really remorseful from that point forward ( which is also shown in the clip I'll upload with the Imgur link ).

11th Screenshot.) He was just overall being really rude towards me when I was asking him about the rifle. Each time I asked him about the rifle he just kept calling me weird, as you can see I asked him twice, and on those 2 times he only called me weird and that was really it.

12th Screenshot.) Him saying how he could probably repay me (which he didn't).

13th Screenshot.) The graph of his inventory every time he sold or bought an Australium sniper rifle.

14th Screenshot.) He ghosted me and from what I've heard many other people after he was meant to repay me.

I find it unfortunate that I had to make this but being ghosted for 3 weeks after being promised ANOTHER repay is just kinda scummish. He had close to 5 months to repay me but he just ended up becoming radio silent.

i was the one that kept going with the signing, even knowing of the api problem, that's not on him, i took the full risk and if i lost it it was on me

it also feels as if some of the wording in the imgur link brings up doubts about the api scam even being real at all, the signing process took easily over an hour and we had the exact same problem you had with trading, what i'm trying to say is that he isn't doing the scamming himself, it is genuinely an api scam, they very much suck. (this is not a comment on the whole repaying thing, i just want to make this piece of info clear)

it didn't really bother me at the time that the whole api thing was such an issue, only really had the grasp of how big of a pain up the ass it was when it actually became an issue like laiky told me before the signing, if i wanted to play it safe i definitely wouldn't have done it, but again, it took over an hour easily to finally get the rifle signed and not have it taken by bots
