Tf2 was one of the first big named titles to receive support for the oculus rift, if not the first cause i remember there was a whooole lotta hubub around the game at the time. Been thinking about that recently and what it means for comp 6v6

that was in like 2013 i think and we're nao in 2018 where its evolved from just looking ya body to full on being some kind of hentai girl doing all kinds of scandalous dances like some fine human beings are doing here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BnAIMqvI-Q

now who is to say in the next 5 or so years progression of the technology that it overpowers the traditional keyboard and mouse setup we gamers have known to love over the many years? would u be pissed off if u had mad aim and then every games just VR and ur just some trash can? i asked banny this some time ago and he said 'yeah id be pissed' which actually reaches our next tangent which is whether or not the progression of technology in the first place is to our advantage or detriment as gamers?

(i wrote this backwards by accident but as u can see i just stumbled across some really interesting point. so basically like i remember some of the normies at school used to play like 2D games where it was all scrolly like before, retro shit instead of the new shit for some reason and i never really got why. indi games. i always tohught it was cause they were poor or some shit but really, as u can see they were onto something some kinda flawed nostalgia which is both tragic and beautiful in a way)

knowing that our setup will soon become obsolete wat are u doing to prepare for this? personally, althoguh im more comfortable on soldier and not rly that good at scout i do feel like more of a scout kinda guy so here's wat i've done:

1. started skateboarding
2. brought a red t shirt
3. brought a red hat, and its worn backwards

and today i wore both the hat and tshirt skateboarding.

so what the fuck does that have to do with VR? i kinda feel like this is all about getting into the character moreso than just 'playing as the scout' because thats the whole point of VR i would say. you are the scout in VR, so thats why im preparing myself to be more like the scout, using more american lingo like here:

http://www.teamfortress.tv/47716/new-yoark

now i kno hes from Boston but its kinda the same thing.

some of u may be tihnking why does it matter whether or not your likeness to the character but here's what i'm thinking about it: each and everyone of us will have the exact same characteristics playing scout, you know the same old, we all have 125 HP, we can all double jump, etc etc, but at the point where its just us in game, what is it that makes us any different from one another? now some of you might be thinking physical prowess but i don't think that's really all that necessary, at least from my point of view where everything's equal cause as i said we all have equal attributes. what differentiates us is individual flair and panache. ive talked about this even in the dark ages (now) about SDB play how it doesnt even matter whether or not hes a top soldier or not he had the most swag and theres no denying it now he would probably be what banny is right now if he was playing in VR (talked about this earlier) but thats wholly hypothetical as we don't really know the source of SDB's swag at least its not publicly known.

my path is kinda like a journey to that source myself so i can acquire this kinda power and dominate the future

just some food for thought but enough about our own personal lives here although i would like to kno how u are preparing fo rthis later

at the point where we ARE the characters, what does that mean for gaming as a whole? what's the difference at that point between competitive TF2 or ballet or some other kinda dance art form. can you even call it gaming anymore? its much more of an art form in many different ways. don't beleive me? try looking at the subject matter of the hentai dancing prior. is that a game? its not like our 'game' at all, its 'dance' and its animation its much more art than sport, which is where i get onto my next point as in TF2 as an eSport because basically if we don't become and eSport before this VR wave hits than basically what happens is we never will we'll just be eArt or something like that and quite frankly saying eArt out loud kinda sounds like wat a donkey sounds like now that i think about it and im saying it out loud in my head as I right this

i got really excited writing this one so its all jumbled up and maybe hard to understand but i can translate any idea u wanna talk about hope i opened some brains today
