I am currently looking for a gaming PC. My budget is about 600-800

I'm pretty interested in this PC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227457

Do you guys have any other recommendations?

That's ok, but you can do better.

Are you against building one yourself?
What games, specifically, do you want to play?

Building one yourself means you get more flexibility. Those prebuilt cyberpower PCs will give you the cheapest motherboard and power supply they possibly can. By building one yourself, you can choose your own power supply and motherboard and keep upgrade options in the future in mind.

Yeah, I'm against building one myself. I'll be playing games like BF3, Dungeon Defenders, and DOTA 2. With my current PC, I get like 20 fps on DOTA 2.

If the only reason you're against building your own PC is not knowing how to then check these (part1, part2) out. He also suggests parts you could buy.

building your own is more satisfying and usually you get a better deal out of it too. but the one you listed looks pretty good for the price tag.

I strongly recommend building your own PC - it usually ends up being a better quality build, and you can choose literally everything you like to go into it. More satisfaction and value for the cost of a couple of hours.

But if you're still against it, the one you linked looks good. But be careful, I've had bad experiences with iBuyPower in the past.

EDIT: Also, check out http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc, they can help you out a lot. And honestly, if you are in a pinch and need help, you can add me. Got lots of experience building PCs here.

I usually recommend building your own PC or buying a fairly decent pre-built one and purchase a seperate graphics card.

If you're going to buy a pre-built then go to CyberPower PC's website and customize one there that will fit your budget.

Hey guys I'm just gonna post this here instead of making a new thread, hope you don't mind.
I'm looking into buying a PC myself and was wondering if these specs would be able to run TF2, I'm only looking for 30+ fps, nothing spectacular. If anyone could give me an idea of what fps I'd be getting I'd be grateful.

Case Black ATX Tower Case
CPU AMD A8 3870K Black Edition X4 (4 x 3.0 GHz) FM1 (Radeon HD 6550D VGA)
CPU Heatsink AMD Heatsink & Fan
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHZ (2x4GB) - (DDR3)
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 - 2 GB -
Motherboard Gigabyte A55M-DS2 (AMD A55) - VGA/DVI
Sound Card Motherboard Integrated HD Sound
Power Supply 700W PSU
Hard Drive 80 GB SATA-II HDD 7200 RPM 2MB
Optical Drive Samsung 22x DVD/CD Re-Writer/Reader - Black - (SATA)
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64

I'm getting it all for about £500/€590, which is pretty much the limit of my budget.

That can run TF2 above 30 fps, and well above if you use the DX9 config.

But it looks incredibly overpriced for the hardware you're getting. I wouldn't recommend buying it; you can get something better for the same price I'm sure.

Everyone is welcome to give their feedback on this, and some people may tell you to go for an i5 3570k instead, but I can back the Processor myself, since it's the same model my build runs.
