I have used all the settings together and as of now (havent used in a while) just suddenly stopped working. Anyone else having this problem or knows how to fix this issue? note that I havent touched anything since I last used it

not sure exactly what youre referring to but i have a feeling it could be the fact that you now have to have your movie recordings folder within the same drive as your tf2 install

the way i get around this is using symbolic links to make the software think its recording to the same drive location as the tf2 install while it actually records to my recording drive

the software i used for this can be found at http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/linkshellextension.html

Thanks, although If I can rephrase. Whats happening is that I have AVI recorder running and lawena but what happens is my recording is going thru lawena and avi recorder does nothing at all, Ill try the method you came up with but if this explanation means something different Id gladly listen for more info!

to clarify specifically lawena has the problem, if you dont have your movie folder in the same drive as your tf2 install when you press record nothing will happen

not sure about how it interfaces with avi recorder but if lawena is involved at all that is a likely point of failure

ok thanks, Ill do more digging and other ways I can try and fix it, where specifically should I look in the tf2 install? in the tf folder or common>Team Fortress 2?

--- Missing Vgui material vgui/..\vgui\maps\menu_thumb_Missing is just a random tf2 error and i don't think has anything to do with it, valve probably just forgot to remove the use of this material from some code.
