I am a Soldier main looking to get into competitive TF2. (i've heard this isn't the best place to start but fuck it) I'm just going to tick the boxes from the LFT post guide by vile and answer questions that you may have after this thread is posted.

  • What level do you play at?
    - I think I'm a decent Soldier main (compared to most pub soldiers that aren't f2p)
  • What is your level goal?
    - My goal is High Open. I know, not reaching far.
  • What are things you want to improve?
    - Mainly, game sense. I find that sometimes I don't disengage from a fight when I should and just get demolished. I've worked on this a lot over the past couple of years.
  • What is your schedule like?
    - I can play from 3:30 pm to 5 pm or 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on weekdays, and from 10:00 am to 12:00 am on Sundays (schedule is pretty erratic on weekends)
  • How often do you play TF2?
    - I don't play TF2 regularly anymore as I just find no reason to play casual or *swallows* competitive. Only reason I play TF2 at the moment is trading.
  • How many days of the week are you willing to commit to TF2?
    - As my schedule said, I can commit up to 6 days a week (given that there aren't any complications)
  • How much competitive experience do you have?
    - Being completely honest, I have only ever played one competitive game. It wasn't even competitive, it was one of the last games of the Fresh Meat league hosted by ETF2L. No one was communicating, and it was basically a pub game with 12 people. So, pretty much no comp experience.
  • How long have you been pubbing?
    - Ever since the game was released. I was fucking 4 years old and playing this game when it still costed money. So, 10 years.
  • How long have you been playing in TF2Lobby?
    - Got taken down for illegal gambling before I even found out about it (then being 2 seconds ago)

As I said, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
