Best way to record demos?

I wanted to record few demos and make fragmovie, but i don't know which program i should use.
Lawena?
Source recording tool?
Other programs??

you quickly want to record frags and stitch the clips together? - shadowplay
you want to make an eye-appealing fragmovie? - use lawena

theres is this tool which in combination with lawena should let you skip having to stitch the tga and wav files together in virtualdub but i personally didn't get it to work

you'll also need a software like sony vegas if you wanna edit the resulting avi files when you put the together
