Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with a question. I am wondering what the best audio settings are for TF2 with headphones. I dont know if it is just me or my headphones, but my hearing seems more muffled in my left ear. If anyone can help me that would be great! Or if anyone just knows what the best settings would be for the best performance overall that would also be very usefull. Thank you!

None of the audio settings should make a noticeable difference in either audio quality or fps. It's probably your headphones or some other software issue if the sound is unbalanced. Is it different in tf2 from other games/outside games?

I'm pretty sure audio in TF2 is preference, louder gives you an advantage I suppose, but it's not imperative to hear footsteps. The things you'd need to hear most are the loudest by default.
