FPS configs causing jitters/non smooth gameplay

Hullo.

I've been playing with different maxframes configs for years now (chris/m0re/comanglias/ etc.

My tf2 has always been...off. Whenever I watch streams, the game is sharp and crisp with low graphical settings. That's not the case for me. Even with 150 constant frames, the game feels jittey and textures almost seem to shimmer and shake
A few days ago, I decided to just take the config out, and use low in game settings. The game is completely different, its smooth (smooth as in 150+fps in tubine). The game looks and feels nice and smooth. The only problem now is I can't play certain maps (upward, badwater..etc) without terribad frames.

Does anyone know what in the configs might be causing unusual screen movment and jitters? I'd like to still have high frames and run the game smoothly at the same time.

note : I use a 75 htz monitor (I know its disgusting and everything, but it doesn't feel like the absence of 120/144 is the issue here.)

Any help would be awesome, seriously.
