soap and water with a rough sponge did it for me.. don't know if it's the proper way but hell, it worked

I use a blowdryer to minimize drying time (just make sure you don't put it on high temp or you'll melt your mousepad)

I like using shampoo or body wash and a facetowel (the sponge sounds good too though) for rubbing some of the gunk off with warm water then air dry.

I usually put mine in the washing machine on cold. hard pads go in the dishwasher. im lazy af.
do it at your own risk. or wash it like normal things (cloth/hands, water, soap. duh). what a question
