but it seems to me i've been floating around the same skill level for almost 6 month or so now, I main roamer and I actuallly do practice (dm, jump maps, lobbies, scrims, pugs etc) but I feel like I still can't beat the teams/people I coudnt beat 6 month earlier, it also feels like i'm not improving at all.

I'm just looking for some advice or someone with experience who'd be down to help me with my game, maybe stating some common mistakes most roamers do would help too, anything really.

thanks!

I don't use the forums too much aside from shit posting so yeah.

is there some way to ask a mod to move it there?

if you're basing the idea of "floating around the same skill level" off of the fact that you can't beat teams/people that you couldnt beat 6 months earlier, it's possible that your idea of improvement is skewed. have you ever considered that the very people/teams that you have been trying to beat are just getting better themselves? and that in actuality you are getting better but just not at a fast enough rate to outdo them?

if you feel like this describes you then maybe a more accurate thing to say is that you're not as improving as quickly as the people you play with/against; it's hard to believe that you would not be improving at all if you practice regularly.

of course i'm not disqualifying your request for tips, nothing wrong with asking

If you feel like you've been practising hard enough to have gotten past the point when you should be beating someone, then it's probably not your fault that you can't beat them. Along with what poopshark said, your teammates may also have stagnated or stopped taking the game seriously and you just need a better/more dedicated team.

But what poopshark said is the most likely circumstance, you're both growing at the same rate. If you merc often (for a team of similar level to your current one) and find yourself doing better against other teams or having better results while playing to your normal efficiency, then it probably is the environment around you, rather than your individual skill and knowledge.

I understand what you're saying but people who used to be in the same div as me 6 month ago are now in a higher div and myself can't get accepted in any team higher then the div I was in 6 month ago
