flynn__Are there any of these besides Ys I and II that I should look out for during the Steam sales?

Already listed Trails in the Sky and Ys Origins and Oath in Felghana when I gave Ultraz the list, those are generally what I'd consider must-haves that WILL go on good sales.

One of my friends liked The Sacred Tears TRUE even though that's an RPGMaker game. The Last Remnant is the stereotypical JRPG that's overly complicated and has poor in-game documentation, lots of grinding. Shining Force 1 and 2 are good ones, and together they're ~$6 even though they're not on sale. Agarest Zero is much more focused on combat from the original (Generations of War) IIRC and the base game is currently 40% off (but has almost $29 worth of DLC). I'd suggest reading BitInn's review of Agarest Generations of War if you're on the fence about it and Zero. Sadly, the Carpe Fulgur pack has not gone on sale for two years now because every time it comes up in the vote, it gets beat down by people who piss themselves whenever they see ~*~ANIME~*~, which is a shame because all three games in the pack are pretty good entry-level JRPG games. Valkyria Chronicles is more Real Time Tactics than JRPG but I'd include it. That might show up on the last day for $15 since it sold well even during the sale.

One Way Heroics is a roguelike a whole lot more than a JRPG, by the way.

Chrono Trigger, FF6, Persona 3, Suikoden 2, and Legend of Dragoon are probably my favorite JRPGs. Threads of Fate is probably also up there for nostalgia's sake because I played that game a ton.

I've been playing through valk chronicles right now and it's been very fun. Srpgs are my favorite and I heard great things about this game so I came in with high expectations. Tactics ogre is next on my backlog.
