Hey.

So for about two weeks now, after watching about ~10 minutes of a stream in the tftv window, I'll get massive lag spikes whenever I chat. My CPU usage jumps ~20% while typing and I have no idea why. This doesn't happen if I watch the stream in the default twitch.tv page so I'm lost.

can you check for me if the same happens when viewing any other externally-embedded stream (try one on http://www.teamliquid.net/)?

I'm not sure if that'd be the same because the chat is in a separate popup window. I'll try and look for a website with embedded chat as well as an embedded stream.

edit: apparently it had something to do with keeping chrome open for too long, i restarted chrome and everything was fine in the tftv window. if I leave it open too long chrome starts taking a ton of memory so that could be related to it, idk. it still happens if i mash keys or delete a really long message however

Go under tools->task manager in the Chrome settings menu and see what's taking up all your resources. It might be a rogue extension.
