How to get rid of old auto exec

First I got this maxframes fps config. After I got it it did not work for a few days then it worked suddenly. I decided to change fps configs and used stabby's auto exec that I got from his steam group. After that my mouse cursor started acting weird. Everytime I try to move it it goes back in the same position over and over again. After that I tried removing stabby's auto exec and then I replaced it with maxframes again. It did not work and I reinstalled tf2 and validated the cache files 3 times and it still won't work. I'm not trying to blame anyone I just need this fixed.

did you try -autoconfig in your tf2 startup options?
it resets all your settings to default

There are usually two auto execs(at least for me). One in your custom folder and another In your cfg folder you may only be editing/deleting one.

Just to clarify what was said above:-

i) remove your autoexec.cfg and custom folder from your tf folder.
ii) run tf2 with -autoconfig in launch options (you should get default settings)
iii) Put your new autoexec.cfg in tf/cfg and put your custom folder back
iv) run tf2 after removing -autoconfig from launch options
v) profit.
