If the tick you're going to is decently far away from where you are currently in the demo, it'll crash. That's just how tf2 demos work.

In my experience, typing mat_queue_mode 0 in console before going to the tick helps crashing a lot.

flatlineIf the tick you're going to is decently far away from where you are currently in the demo, it'll crash. That's just how tf2 demos work.

I was going to tick 40000. Im a dumbass. Then again, I watch HiGPS, so I should know that this will happen

Disable multicore rendering in the advanced video options and it will let you skip.

For me queued single thread (mat_queue_mode 1 in your config) solves this issue completely.

You should not use it on your playing config tho as it decreases your fps a lot as far as I know.
