Hello friends. I'm athermal and I'm looking for a team as roamer for a low-mid open team in CEVO. I'm also willing to play in ESEA, but CEVO is preferred. I would also be open to either playing pocket or medic for the right team. Looking for a team that wants to improve, but have fun along the way. Personality is more important to me than skill.
Previous Competitive Experience:
- UGC Iron HL S8: [fuuq] - Medic
- ESEA Open S15: heroes of low open - Pocket Soldier (http://play.esea.net/teams/77575)
Other Teams I am Currently Playing For:
- (*No-Scrim Team) UGC Silver 6s S14: [Ag+] E-Sports - Scout
- UGC Silver HL S12: Jerry Seinfeld and the Burbs - Soldier
A little bit about myself:
- 19 year old college student
- West Coast (California)
- free on Mondays after HL, Wednesdays after 6s, and free at any time on Tuesdays/Thursdays/Sundays (my schedule is subject to change based on exams). I'd also like to have some days off, not really interested in scrimming 5 days a week.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Roamer:
+ Comms, responding to comms, and working with the team
+ able to consistently do jumps/rollouts (<90 ping)
+ willing to offclass "dumb" classes (heavy, engineer, pyro, etc.)
+ decent amount of gamesense (will play passive or aggressive when needed, not an extreme amount of dumb deaths)
+ creativity (will use unlocks when necessary, backcaps, hiding spots, etc.)
+ don't care about my K/D at all
- DM (fairly used to having a shotgun, so I sometimes have problems with 1v1s)
- Sniping (can hit some bodyshots, but not much more)
Pocket:
+ Comms, responding to comms, and working with the team
+ Can main call if necessary
+ Decent pocket gamesense (counting ubers, pushing health/number advantages, when to not take heals, etc.)
+ Shotgun aim
- Rocket aim (can suffer at higher ping due to being West Coast)
- Can call some incorrect pushes at times due to lack of experience
- Micromanages at times when main-calling
Medic:
+ Actually willing to play Medic (for the right team)
+ Can main call if necessary
+ Medic comms (Counting ubers, relaying health, position, etc.)
- Everything else. My medic still needs some work. Probably the weakest of the three.

Athermal is the most team-centric and selfless player I've ever met.
Pocketed for our shitty open team when it was clear nobody else could, he always puts the team ahead of himself when he plays.
Definitely deserves the chance to play his actual class, the roamermans. He plays super creatively and will give any team the openings they need for vital pushes or clutch last holds.

Pretty good gamesense and helpful with team cohesion, but if your demo messes up a rollout he will turn it into an inside joke.

ok ive only seen his pocket but i think he can do better than low-mid with his dedication and gamesense. he can take criticism and he was one of the main reasons his last team improved from their meh start and most of his players are now much better than where they started. Any solid mid open team should consider picking him up and with his stream watching ability you know that he loves the game and he will improve a lot when he gets a stable team so yeah i love you too athermal gl with your team finding
