Hey there, apparently I've had this problem for a while, but I wasn't aware of it since a viewer of my stream pointed it out.
Whenever I try to talk in tf2 my mic will cut out after a second or too, and wont get the rest of what I'm saying. I also have the exact same problem when using Push-to-talk in OBS. I use the same mouse button for ptt in OBS and in mumble, and the people in mumble can hear me finish my sentences just fine, but the audio cuts out on stream. I can't say that the problem is local to OBS though, because as mentioned It cuts out in game in the same way, but i use a different ptt key for that.
My mic is a zalman clip, with VIA hd audio drivers.
any help or suggestions would be lovely thanks :)

Does your mic have some sort of noise filtering? As in it'll cut out any noise below a certain volumte level

Having a similar issue to this. I noticed that my audio/in-game seems fine, but not long into the stream my microphone just.. stops picking up what I say.
edit: noticed it randomly came back in half through the stream, then cut out about 10m later. :l

WithADanceNumberNone that i'm aware of.
It might have been turned on without you knowing. Check it out in your settings and get back to us.
