I've been playing with Chris's Max Frames, but every time i play every once in awhile I freeze for 3 seconds. Rarely goes up to 10 seconds. My fps goes up and down, like 110 then to 30.

I wonder of what specific net code settings I need to make tf2 playable again for me.
Can anyone help me out? This is what runs in my computer right now.

How long have you had the issues? Because tbh, I don't think your situation has a happy ending with any config you load TF2 with. 2gb of RAM, a 9400 GT? Your processor needs to be a beast to make up for those components being just slightly above the (probably outdated) minimum requirements TF2's store page identifies. Network settings won't help you, if your intranet isn't good, then you should expect sub-par performance. Your graphics processing power is laughably low, although I don't think you need to be told that. I just don't think your computer is powerful enough to handle the ongoing operations HL2 engine needs to compute to run the game with any customized settings to remove clutter. At least, not without some sort of hiccup every now and then. Hiccups happen to everybody though, but it seems to be mostly related to RAM. I have experienced those issues and have since replaced my motherboard and RAM, I don't really get any random freezes anymore. So really, the only thing you can do is probably just upgrade your computer.

Had the issue for years, too shy to ask the problem. Thx for the straight up answer. I hope to upgrade someday then.
