Does anyone know why crosshair6 will get bigger then smaller then bigger (repeat)?

I noticed this yesterday when I switched to crosshair6 and it looked small to my liking, but after I opened up my console and closed it, the lines got spread out. My crosshair size never changed either, it's at cl_crosshair_scale 32

It might be what haro said, but I've noticed that if you enter the crosshair options or change the crosshair in console, the lines will adjust the way you showed.
To fix it, just put your commands in your autoexec and it won't change

this happened to me once when I changed my fov. I was messing around with a spy zoom script (changing fov to "zoom in") and I was using that crosshair. It became like the above picture, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it until I restarted my game and it was back to normal. weird.

Default crosshairs are super weird, I normally just use crosshair7 to avoid the dumb shit that happens with 6. I honestly have no idea how it bases its gap in the middle. I know there are commands for it in counterstrike that may have just been left out in tf2
