Yes, hello. As most of you already know, there was a problem with the new update regarding crashes upon connecting the main menu and it required deleting custom HUDs and specific MvM files. I have done both of those things, including reinstalling TF2 and continue to crash. I have also tried accessing the game from an alternate account that I own with no custom files installed onto it whatsoever and experienced the very same issue. Is there anyone else out there who is experiencing this as well and/or found a fix for this yet? The methods suggested everywhere still have yet to work for me and my only hope at this rate is to wait for Valve to make a patch for this. Thanks in advance!

Laan nvm, i deleted my resource and script files and it works fine

Believe it or not, that's what I did too and I still can't seem to run the game. I don't even have a TF2 folder anymore after reinstalling and it still causes the crash.

Yeah, I saw that thread as well. My problem is different however because I can't even get the game work after doing all of those steps.

I still have this problem ;_; I had a semi-heavily modified version of OMPHUD and I can't even start up the game still even after this new patch.

So I narrowed it down to be in hudlayout.res, if I take that file out then it works fine but of course I lose HP, feed, etc
