Played in a Pug with Vick before. A really, really nice guy and willing to help if you need it. Join up!
To quote on what Rikachu/flynn__/dfy said, if the bind key doesn't work, then just type exec rollout (or whatever you want to name it) in console. Sometimes the bind key wouldn't work for myself, so there's just a small solution for you if it does.
Was hoping for HooliganHUD, but this is just as good. Great job, rays!
Looks like Thursday is going to be a good day.
Hello there.
So, after spending time in Pugs, watching streams, doing jump maps, playing MGE and DM servers, I think its time that I went out and looked for a team. As the thread title shows above, I'm looking for a spot as a Pocket or a Roamer. I'm confident with my aim with Shotgun and Rockets, as well as my jumps. I've only had two seasons in Highlander with eGO in Steel, so I know the difference between good and bad comms. I've also sat in two nights with eGO while they scrimmed back in July, as well as playing with the team for one scrim while Madoff was out.
In terms of starting and backing up, it doesn't matter too much to me. While it would be nice to have a starting position, I'm more than happy to backup for another team mate. As for my availability, I'm usually on everyday unless something comes up. On weekdays, I'll be able to scrim up to ~11pm EST since I have classes on the weekdays. Weekends, again, I may be on when you need me. I do have Mumble setup, as well as IRC. I haven't played with a team in ESEA, so I would have to still get premium and such.
That'll pretty much cover it. If you have any other questions, go ahead and add me on Steam. :>
EDIT: Since multiple things are coming up for me this semester, I am only looking for a backup spot currently.
In an older thread I think enigma said that as long as you have your link (check) and you aren't a one-and-done streamer (hopefully a check), then he'll get you on soon.
damn, this is going to be a little more interesting 4th place fight.
brownymasterEdLolingtonIt doesn't.brownymaster8 seconds, but cuts off @ 4 seconds. Where are the pro tips?I think refreshing helps that
what I did before was when the video ended, I just clicked back at the start of it. the only downside to that is that the related videos are in the way, but it doesn't matter that much since its a listening thing.
shit dude, even if it isn't that high of a level of a player, as long as they have experience in some form of 6v6 TF2 (preferably ESEA), then I think they should at least take some time to try out casting. hell, I think Brad casted with Sal last season in the Ducks/br0 Gpit match and people actually mentioned that they liked the fact that someone with his kind of insight was able to cast that night. things like that should be done more often. while it is just shout casting, its so sweet to just spectate these matches and hear people talk about the game in the deepest way they can because they experienced that scene for this game.
The Catcher in the Rye is my favorite personally.
oh shit forgot about it. ty for the heads up!
while I don't see pug.nahl dying or turning into a shitfest with shit admins like pug.na, if that were to happen, couldn't you guys make a Platinum Pugs Steam Group like what they do with Invite?
I mean, while there may not be 18 always when you want them, you could put some higher Silver players in to the mix as well. but, once again though, pug.nahl is just fine for now. just getting ideas going for future references. :>
