#3459 PC Build Thread in Hardware

They have the s600 too, I checked and it supports atx. From what I can see it's just a bigger s400. Fuck it, 90 eur case it is. Thanks a lot again :)

One last question because I'm apparently too stupid to figure it out on my own. Does the s400 actually fit my motherboard and other parts? (Msi b450 tomahawk, and either 2060 super or 5700 xt). You said full size motherboard = full size case but this one has mini in the name

I'll stop spamming you with case links right after this one, I found another store with a bit more variety.

https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mini-tower/silencio-s400/

Is this better than the last?

If it is, I'll probably build my PC in the foreseeable future, after some exams. Thank you so much for your help, you're the tftv mvp

Found this one for 63 eur. It says magnetic filters, does that mean dust filters or is it something else?

This is the XT, I assume it's single fan from the pics?

For about 65 eur, I can get a 750w Corsair Builder Series CX, is that better than the mwe gold?
Anything else that I can find is either some cheap chinese brand (sharkoon and whatnot) or is 100+ eur

As for the cases, I don't see any with more than 1 fan. Going higher up in price only adds a built in psu and I'd feel dumb if i spent 100+ eur on a case for a 1000 eur pc

@setsul and sniff
It's the cheapest 2060 super that I could find. The cheapest 5700 is 50 eur cheaper than the 2060 super. Is it any worse or should I save myself 50 eur and go for a 5700? There's also the 5700XT that's about 30 eur more expensive than the 2060 super. I know radeon gpus used to be considered inferior, had overheating issues, some games weren't optimized for them etc, but I don't know too much about PCs and I've been out of the loop for a while so I have no idea what the current situation is.
Oh also, I can get the 2060 super ventus for the same price, if the windforce is bad.

the stores only have samsung and kingston ssds unfortunately
I can get a cooler master mwe 650W for an extra 10 eur over the 550w, is it worth it/necessary?

Also, I'm looking at a coolermaster K350 case, I did some googling and it seems to be able to fit (from what ive gathered, it's 315mm max, the 2060 super is 229 mm), but can anyone confirm, just in case I'm making some huge oversight with the numbers (first time building a PC)

#3446 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Trying to make a decent build, this is what I've come up with with the help of a friend. Any criticisms/suggestions? Also how tf do I know which case would fit this? Also, I'm looking to use it for both tf2 and any AAA games that come out within the next 5 or so years. 1000 eur is as high as I'm willing to go (unless there's some massive upgrade for a negligible price increase), the prices provided are from local stores that are my only option for purchases.

CPU: CPU AMD AM4 Ryzen 5 Box, 3600 3,6 GHz MAX Boost 4,2GHz 6xCore
206 eur

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 8GB GDDR6 HDMI/3xDP DX12 WINDFORCE 2X
442 eur

HDD: SAMSUNG SSD 860 EVO SATA3 500GB
76 eur

MOBO: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX RYZEN DDR4-4133MHz USB3.1 DVI/VGA/HDMI RGB Mystic Light
110 eur

RAM: 2x DIMM 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz Kingston CL16 HyperX Fury Black HX432C16FB3K2/16
92 eur

PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 550W
74 eur

Total: 1000 eur

Thanks in advance

(before someone mentions it, yeah, no HDD, just an SSD, I don't play many different games or work with large files, 500 gigs is more than enough for me)

#30 Please stop the lies in Off Topic

Reading this thread made me realize that a large portion of the tf2 community have spent their highschool experience stuffed in a locker. Since when is 19/16 considered creepy, lmfao. You don't magically turn into a middle aged man with a moustache and male pattern baldness the day you hit 18. You're literally turning this shit into a witch hunt. Shit, I've got no stakes in this situation, I don't know anyone in the thread but just reading this, you guys are being beyond ridiculous.

What's next, 18yo dating a 16yo? Better call the fucking FBI

Reflecto dude, I read what you said in the nursery thread and I'm genuinely sorry you were abused as a kid, I really am. No one needs to go through shit like that. But man, stop looking for a monster in every shadow. Not everyone is a pedophile, not everyone is an abuser, and 18 isn't some magical line that turns you directly from a toddler into a 50 year old. 19 year olds have been dating 16/17 year olds irl everywhere and every when and literally no one sees it as weird.

It's admirable that you guys are trying to oust all the pedophiles from the comp community, just please stick to the actual pedophiles and not some dude and a girl in a relationship that no one would bat an eye at IRL

2 of the most solid TF2 movies ever made...

These 2 are what got me into 6s all those years ago. I'm glad there's a backup at least

gooseaSylentcrib_SylentThanks. Any links/names for the 144hz ips for 200?
Almost every monitor manufacturer is either releasing or has released one. LG ultragear, AOC 24G2U, Acer and Asus, etc. The cheaper models have a 23.8 inch panel from Panda(?) but there's also a 24.5inch AUO panel. They're all new, so it'll take a couple weeks for reviews to trickle through.

If they're new it's gonna take a long while till I see them in stores here

Anyway you seem to know your shit, so what do you think about AOC? I hadn't heard about them till a few weeks ago, they seem to make affordable monitors but I have no idea if they're actually good or just some off brand Chinese garbage

AOC is actually a pretty old company that used to make decent CRTs. I do know that Chinese companies like AOC sometimes use the same panels as the name brands do, you just have to look for specs/reviews of that specific model. FWIW, I've had a good experience with my cheap Chinese monitor (Monoprice 240hz).

In general, I would recommend spending a little more (250usd vs 180-200) vs getting something that's going to have ghosting/smearing issues. I made that mistake myself, and the only reasonable upgrade from a smeary 1080p 144hz monitor was something like a 240hz one, since it doesn't make sense to shell out another 200+ dollars just for some smoothness and no more hz.

Thanks fren

CBTIf this is purely for competitive gaming if you look around you can find a 240hz around $250. I got my LG 27GK750F-B on amazon warehouse open box for $220.

Without going into too much detail, my country is crap, most big retailers don't ship here directly and every 240hz I've seen here has been $450+

Title. I'm looking for a 144hz monitor, this one's like 200 eur so it's fairly cheap. Any experiences with it? What's the catch? Or is there no catch and it's just a good deal?
