A quick look at the rosters for tonight:

I like how you take a quote from ages after you were removed from tflive slack.
Cut the shit. Stop being a compulsive liar. People might actually respect you if you do.
this was just from when I was starting this org.
muppetIf you really did want to just bring more coverage to the table, I feel like you'd just have sorted out your PC stuff and become a producer for TFLIVE.
if only it was that easy, I did ask at the very beginning, the reply:

yet there was only one or two around.
Dreamboatmitchcliff123This currently meaningcptvand rednexala are the only orgs/people allowed to stream Asiafortress.
I just want to correct this one point as tflivetv is doing asiafortress as well, I was asked to cast it.
My question though, why has everyone else put a cast request out unlike you guys?
Hi, lemme answer some questions first.
sBioCappingTV has exclusive rights to casting asiafortress matches
No. All orgs have to make a request through the Asiafortress forums if they want rights to cast. This currently meaning cptv and rednexala are the only orgs/people allowed to stream Asiafortress.
I understand that the stream last night on CappingTV was the worst twitch stream I've ever produced for, I recently bought out a new computer and have been doing tests to see quality, they were good. But last night one of the settings obviously changed as the quality went to s*it and I do apologise.
I see a lot of people meming about our organization for how shit the quality is, or how obnoxious the owner is. I am done with it. I only started this to bring more coverage to the table. And so I dedicated weeks or months to create CappingTV. I was pretty happy and excited to see it start, our first cast was the OZF 16 open grand finals, it was pretty good for a first go, except I forgot to turn on VoD archiving. So we started again with OZF 17. The quality of casts were not good, and we knew it was not good, so then I went looking for producers hoping to find people with a better upload speed or computer to help out, it was quite hard to find people, and I know fozzlm also had problems finding people. This is the main reason our casts were so bad. I was getting frustrated with the amount of hate coming towards us, and so I thought a good way of slowly reversing it all was by maybe running a fun tournament, I don't need to go into that. What I'm trying to say is that everything I've been trying to do is to help out the TF2 community, not to create a meme or a wasteful twitch channel. If you really want us not to cast again, well fine get on with it.
Regards,
Mitch from CappingTV
And here comes the frags
ImmatureLlamamitchcliff123- CappingTV Management Team
doesn't a team require more than one person
There is more than one person
sBioI did not authorise them to play on an ozf server and that they were playing with people like bioh who weren't even in the competition.do i still get a badge?
You can get a special badge named "nice try"

Right, I've wanted to make one of these replies for so long but I've been holding off, but I will be as transparent as possible.
On the first night, the cast never happened as 1. The management team were so busy trying to get the forfeits fixed, server strings sent out, and answering dozens of DM's that we just said to cancel it, way to much to handle especially as we have never run a tournament before, just wanted to say that as it was our first time there would be some issues, but we have addressed them in our private discussions and we will make sure things stay on track if we run one again.
Now one thing you definitely got wrong was that the servers weren't working, I did not break them and they were working mostly fine (TFTrue wasn't starting up, after day 1 we tracked down the problem and fixed it.) Our other problem was the amount of teams we had compared to the amount of servers, we originally thought because it was a cpTV event and that there was a load of negativity caused by a select few of people that when we went to collect our servers from Streamline-Servers that we only thought we needed 4 or 5. We were wrong. And that was one reason we thought we could ask players to book ozf servers since they're free and have the maps for the first round, but of course we were veto'd by them and so we continued to slowly get strings out and get back on track. It was not a lie that I was not informed that we couldn't use ozf servers, only qixalite was I informed.
The second night, we decided that it would only be best we just casted finals as
1. Our EU producer had got last minute family problems and was not able to attend the computer
2. We didn't want to have it on our channel in case it reoccurred.
The long server wait times were due to the fact that we had 4 servers, but that did not add up to the matches, thus we told them to wait till they get a string and do something else within that time. What did work.
This one team playing an hour earlier was an absolute lie, I did not authorise them to play on an ozf server and that they were playing with people like bioh who weren't even in the competition. This game did not count, and I think that game was played just to have a nip at us.
Day 3 was alright, except the fact that our casters weren't avaliable and we were running out of people to find due to us being understaffed, thus we casted as a way of getting the coverage out.
concorIt's partly my fault regarding medals. I handed out 2d concepts earlier to Mitch just days or weeks before the tournament starts. I contacted the regular guy who creates medals for AF (iridiscentFUZZ) and only contacted him only once since. I made no other effort to contact him due to him not really being seen online through discord and him being busy outside of this work alone. Once again, my apologies for medals not being done sooner enough.
-concor.
None of this is your fault as it is my job with the help of mackey to make sure everything goes smoothly, iridiscentFUZZ is doing a wonderful job for us free, so we should all wait patiently for the medals to come up in our backpack, and I will find a way to thank him for doing this out of his own time. Also a big shoutout to concor for designing the logo, medals etc.
Everything aside, I think the cpTV Management team did learn a lesson from this competition and it will be different next time.
We will continue to cast this year and we will be coming out stronger.
