WithADanceNumberOne thing you could do for VODs, is stream to youtube and twitch at the same time. AFAIK youtube doesn't block audio on VODs currently.
This is against the Twitch partner contract.
Bmcs777 he contradicts himself with the statement of "We have absolutely no intention of flagging songs due to original in-game music." from http://blog.twitch.tv/2014/08/3136/ So I don't really know what to think :/ .
He means that games with original soundtracks should be fine once they have the bugs worked out, but games with licensed soundtracks (GTA, for example) will still most likely be muted.
My biggest hope about a potential TF2 -> Source2 port would be that it would most likely come with improvements to demos (replays), STV, and other esports-related tools.
There is a free alternative to VAC called VB-Audio Virtual Cable (great name, I know). Since I feed my mic into Adobe Audition for live processing, I use this program to then route the output into OBS.
I have and use a 2233rz as my main 120hz monitor. To circumvent the annoyingly low stand, I use a desk-mount dual-monitor arm. This monitor has never had any problems for me and is also pretty sturdy. Additionally, the 2233rz has a native res of 1680x1050.
Seems like a pretty bad way of requesting additional content from someone who is kindly volunteering their time and effort.
Guys, please. If you don't feel like this is worth your time or money, then move on. If you have a few bucks to spare to make the immense travel costs for Dashner a little less painful, then consider donating. Bear in mind that Dashner has already purchased his tickets and has donated hundreds of hours of production time for free, and will continue to do so for both i52 and GXL.
Arguing doesn't help or achieve anything.
Dashner is one of the primary driving forces behind the continuing advancement of North American TF2 production and coverage. He sets extraordinarily high standards and goals for himself, beyond even what I think would be in the realm of possibility. He's not afraid to think big and try to take this game to its limits, production-wise. You wouldn't believe the things we have cooking up for i52 and GXL.
Without dedicated, self-motivating, and talented collaborators like Dashner, my will to carry on working for this game would have depleted long ago. If you have at all been entertained by any of the eXtv casts in the past few seasons or are looking forward to i52 and GXL, please consider donating. We all pay massive expenses out of pocket to work for free to bring you guys the highest-quality entertainment we can, but sometimes we need a little help to get there.
LulzyI don't understand what you mean. (Not the sharpest tool in the shed.)
Add more data about all of these players to their Comp.tf pages. Would make it easier to make a potential Hall of Fame page in the future, either here or on Comp.tf itself. Goes for everyone here, not just you.
Perhaps you could use this as an excuse to flesh out the data on Comp.tf?
My sister lives in the Boston area (Cambridge, specifically) with her boyfriend, and I've visited a few times.
I can't speak much to Boston itself, but Cambridge is lovely. Such a great town for just walking around and finding cool stuff. I'm a person who is generally made quite nervous by urban environments, and even I enjoy Cambridge. The public transit in Boston is also top notch.
Mr_OwlI'd love to do it again in a few months or so and make this a semi regular thing. I'm willing to take the reins on it as well if you're busy with other stuff, lange. I'm sure it was a hell of a lot of work to get something like this off the ground.
I definitely want to do more of these, potentially more than just once a year. I have to reflect for a while on this one first, and i52 and GXL need to be in the books before I think about more events. Rest assured though, I want another WCRV as much as you do and I will do everything in my power to make it happen.
Dave_Same price right?
Yes, $48 per person for the full 12 hours. You can buy other amounts of hours at the normal rates at the register.
AustereWhen and where will the stream be up?
1PM CST, twitch.tv/langeh
