It's my actual initials and I just decided to use it as a username from around the age of 12 or so, but when it came to tf2 I always lied and said it stood for accuracy precision and timing, or the actual word "apt" which by definition is:
(I stole this shit from dictionary.com but whatever, pick any one you want and apply it)
1.
inclined; disposed; given; prone:
too apt to slander others.
2.
likely:
Am I apt to find him at home?
3.
unusually intelligent; able to learn quickly and easily:
an apt pupil.
4.
suited to the purpose or occasion; appropriate:
an apt metaphor; a few apt remarks on world peace.
5.
Archaic. prepared; ready; willing.
It never stood for apartment but I get a good chuckle out of the fact that I'm referred to it by some people. I find it endearing.
ur still my favorite wrench
I learned that if I work hard enough at something (not even necessarily video game related) I can actually get places, and I also learned that FPS games besides TF2 are pretty fun too.
Fucking love spicy food, the spicier the better. There's this place near where my father lived that we used to get wings from where they were so spicy you actually needed to sign a waver before you ate them. Those were my favorite.
I don't understand why we don't just play the game and not worry about the bullshit that goes down in this thread. It's literally useless and quite possibly even detrimental to actually worry about the opinions of the people writing the open power rankings. Just practice hard, win matches and prove them wrong instead of posting on the thread to salvage your egos. You'll almost certainly be happier (and in a better gaming mindset) the moment you stop caring.
Troopofaust_emperorAlso Troopo and I should be the same person because we both have flaming tosslecaps, and we're the same height.Troopotrue, we must be a fusion in this picture

I feel like im being cheated on, Troopo.
My heart cant take it.
GGs to both ESD and No Johns tonight, both of you guys are really solid teams.
I just hope it manages to self sustain. I'd love to be able to play dm on maps like product and gravelpit again
avaiihn"We've just turned on the 11th, and final, stress test. The competitive beta will be wrapping up in the coming days -- and we'll be running the stress test until then. So get in there!"
Honestly there are so many weapons that need to be rebalanced and other changes that need to be made. If this is the end and they're releasing it soon without a big update than this feels really underwhelming imo.
Just means they're gonna be done with giving the players stress tests and focusing on user input. Doesn't mean that it's being updated and completely finished. Wait for the actual update for the final version of MM.
Will it help you improve? Well, that depends. Every person is different. Half a year ago I played MGE religiously but ultimately I came to the decision that it was doing more harm to me than good. For the most part MGE (despite its intended purpose) is played more-so like a competition rather than as a form of practice by a good portion of people. A lot of people behave in ways that generally benefit them in the short run (ie: within the context of winning the specific fight at hand with controlled variables like health back on the next life and knowing there's nothing else to shoot at you) rather than long term.
Ultimately I came to the decision that it wasn't really helping me get any better but just helping me learn how to beat more people in mge. Any time I found myself in an in game 1v1 I'd get shat on because people were playing differently (ie: not trying to gay up their movement or hide at the end of the map and spam). I decided to quit playing it and go play DM instead. The environment is a bit more realistic and if you still like taking 1v1s, there's nothing stopping you from trying to take micro 1v1s with everyone anyways, but now with the added pressure of killing someone quickly so you don't get shot in the back. With that being said, these two methods of practice don't even compare to pugs and scrims.
If you're not enjoying MGE then stop playing it. Since you seem to dislike DM too I would definitely suggest finding a pug group and becoming a regular. They're really fun and you can put hours of practice into them without even realizing it, not to mention they train more than just your aim and movement.
Very close match that honestly had me biting my nails between deaths. GG guys. It was fun.
