twiikuu_KermitThe venue not being set in stone isn't that great, is there any public reason for announcing the tournament and stuff already if the venue isn't even confirmed? For what it's worth, I've seen two posts on their official website that states that the venue will be Lokomotivværkstedet, the same as last year:
https://copenhagengames.com/posts/csgo-tournament-format
https://copenhagengames.com/posts/csgo-ladies-tournament-format

lokomotivaerastesrafdafasdrfatrd is likely but lasse/mia have said the venue still isn't confirmed just yet and the website is preemptive/wrong

Just today we've finally gotten confirmation of the venue. As last year, the event will be at:
Lokomotivværkstedet
Otto Busses Vej 5A
2450 København

What days is the tournament actually occurring? The article definitely needs to be updated to clear this up, cause it says that the tournament is only until the 11th (Saturday). If it actually does happen on Thursday or Friday that's pretty awful for college students missing class and especially flying in from the us and having to go early and miss more.

Unfortunately don't think any NA teams will end up going anyways cause it's right after RGL LAN and also right at the end of the semester when things start to pick up (for me it's when all the big end of semester projects usually happen). As much as I want to go and people say this could replace iseries as the main international TF2 event, it's not looking likely this year at least. Insomnia is always in August when people are off from school and is a common month for vacations anyways.
Easter weekend especially seems like pretty poor timing for any one off event to occur, not to mention it being a regular yearly thing. Maybe it's not as big a thing in Europe but my family usually gets together and it's one of the few times a year i can see some of my relatives. Early January for example (rewind/bts) is also better because most people are off for winter break. Even though it doesn't have a real prize pool, RGB is in June when the school year is finished too. Maybe it'd be possible to swap around the timing of these events next year (probably not but I can hope)

Event opens on Wednesday at 14:00 and closes Sunday morning. The tournaments run Thursday through Saturday, starting at 10:00 on Thursday and Friday, start time on Saturday would be there abouts, maybe a bit later.

Copenhagen Games has been on the Easter weekend for the last 10 years, I doubt we can get them to change that around.

Fair enough, thanks for clearing it up. Probably hard to get people to work on Easter Sunday so makes sense.
