seems a little weird to have hitscan just pass through your teammates lol how bullshit would it be if as a medic u get headshot by a sniper standing behind a blob of ppl

i can see projectiles going thru them but idk about hitscanning something that u cant even see bc a teammate is in the way

this can be done inside the map. for each info_player_teamspawn entity you can limit classes, that it can spawn - so you can create fixed setting

The fact that we still play granary_pro_rc8 in europe with spawns that arent even the same. Blue team spawns further back than red team meaning higher chance of blue team medic getting a poor spawn that stops him from beaming his demoman deep in spawn. Ultra fucked when u consider how tight the granary rollout is for demomen on dat map. We meme burgers for playing with rocket room but its literally more competitive because at least both teams get the same rollout. cheers.

Spawn outlines being enabled on some competitive server configs. Just annoying on spy & the alternative is to undisguise and have the spy scream about some point not being captured or whatever. Didn't have to bother dealing with this years ago so not sure why this is a thing now

I know it's a map issues but shadows are pretty fucked. Metalworks is the biggest culprit but you should still have shadows turned on for every map and it's silly

You can already get headshot by a sniper standing behind a blob of people, its one of the few hitscan things that go through teammates.

I think the version of that complaint that would be acceptable in this thread is getting owned 9 out of 10 times if you are on a slanted surface, even if your timing is right, not sure how that could be fixed though (I think it only works at certain angles?)

not being able to for spawn kills as spy when disguised because of team glow and when popping a deadringer u instantly know if its a feign or not because it doesnt show the spy as dead in the match hud

it's annoying at times but i think the trade off from on demand invisibility which can deliver your team vital information to effectively being part of the flank and relying on ur gun is still fair enough, but without the ability to sometimes actually fool the other team into thinking u are dead, even if its just for a brief moment (like shooting right before you feign, etc etc stabbystabby quote blablabla), i just think it removes one more interesting aspect of the class thats really just been cucked off of a technical oversight

just in case any mappers are reading this and don't know how this is done, some of the older custom FGDs don't support this, I used to tell people this was a myth n never implemented it on my maps cause of that, so if the option isn't there for you that's why- should be under flags.
