some guy randomly messaged this to me on twitch and told me to put it here lmfao
apparently this was when lego were playing unexpected on viaduct (raptor stream)

Some men just like to watch Samski die.

damneasyAlso even though unexpected is doing pretty well now, they only actually won 1 game. I dont count the default win vs lowpander a win because we all know who would have won that... Lego on the other hand won 3 games, so imo they deserve more to be in playoffs.

Contesting a team's place in playoffs based on the interpretation of their results is so retarded words cannot describe it.
This is how etf2l has worked for ages, and we are going to tell a team they dont deserve playoffs because their results dont look good, despite being enough, statistically ?

This looks rather clear that some people in aF had beef with people in unexpected (I feel like I've seen samski in a similar situation before) and they broke an etf2l rule for it.
When i see such childish behaviour from soon-to-be washed up players, I cant help but think tf2 is not going to get better anytime soon.

wtf stop saying it like as if they had all 6 players motivated and ready to play and it was an easy win for them. They didn't give a default only to ruin unexpected's chance of getting into playoffs.

even if aF did it to keep unexpected out of playoffs what's wrong with that?
if they legitimately considered unexpected a better team than lego then giving the ffl is a smart decision. they shouldn't be forced to try to win if it's going to go against their own self interest.

That would be really bad sportsmanship. There aren't millions of dollars on the line. Every team, if they're capable of doing so, should honor the spirit of the game.

Losing on purpose is the exact opposite of competitive though, even if it may be in favor of you. Not really what you want to see in a competitive league.
