#7 Comparing CFG tool? in Customization

Here's what I would do.

  1. Make a copy of both configs
  2. Open in a text editor such as Atom with a sort lines plugin
  3. Sort both configs alphabetically
  4. Optionally: delete all comments and empty lines
  5. Open in DiffMerge to see differences

#1322 PC Build Thread in Hardware

I entered the products into nl.hardware.info, which pulls data from different webshops from the Netherlands. Here’s how that looks like https://i.imgur.com/mGTmcOa.png

Yeah I almost forgot that the non-Founders Edition cards would have better cooling for the same price. Unfortunately, they are pretty much – again – the same price.
https://i.imgur.com/KUlB0fg.png (last two rows are lowest price and average price) Is this the same in other countries too, that the not-Founders are not ~€100 cheaper like the MSRP in USD?

I don’t mind paying for premium stuff, since I am looking forward to playing some GPU intensive games; and to playing 1440p 120Hz with a new display soon™; and since VR is a possibility (not my choice).

Yes for overclocking.

#1317 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Hi, great to see there’s a thread with someone really knowledgeable.
My budget is (max) €1800 for a first-time build, no reused parts, to upgrade from a Mac that can’t even reach 60fps on some midfights with 720p and toaster settings. I’d like to buy it this week, because I’m really getting tired of this.
I look forward to playing all kinds of games, but mostly TF2. Recording/streaming/video editing: yes. Transport to lan party: yes. VR: uh maybe.
I currently have a 1440p 60Hz display, but look forward to upgrading it in a couple of months.
Note: I’m buying in the Netherlands, but PCPartPicker does not support it yet.

#42 Coolest/Funnist thing you ever did/saw in tf2. in TF2 General Discussion

arena_breakwall_b2 with Class Warfare and random crits on. Full 32 player server. Soldiers vs Scouts. I won the round in less than 10 seconds with 2 crit rockets destroying every Scout. The fairest and most balanced round in the history of custom gamemodes.

I made this Discord announcement for my team mates:

unit on discordCompetitive Matchmaking updates since Thursday: minimap added to mid-right of the HUD. Official area names added to top-left of the HUD. Added a pink ubercharge meter to teammate Medic’s dead/alive icon. (image: https://i.imgur.com/hTcE4jK.png ) Added Match up button at end of match to opt-in to continue playing with the same team members. Nerfed Crit-a-Cola “+25% movement speed” removed. Nerfed Quick-Fix by adding the property “uber rate decreases on maximum overheal”. Added Player Destruction Watergate to competitive map rotation. Disabled teammate collision for rollouts. Rolled back spawning mechanic to what it was like a year ago. You can now disable Competitive animations in the Advanced Options. Change to Pistol: it is now a projectile weapon. Don’t forget to update your HUD, or do not use your HUD until an update is available.
